PVDA Sponsored Programs
|
|
| Junior/Young Riders | We're Not Just for Adults—PVDA has an active Junior/Young Rider program which offers special schooling shows, clinics, and field trips.
USDF JR/YR Region 1 Team Championships—Entry of teams may be organized according to dressage organizations, farms, barns, instructors, pony clubs, 4-H clubs, any youth riding club, or groups of individuals. This is your chance to get together with your friends and have some fun! | | Educational |
PVDA sponsors clinics and educational programs for its members. Members may audit any clinic for free. Fees for participating in clinics vary from event to event. The projects sponsored by PVDA is a direct reflection of the wishes of its membership. We encourage you to submit your ideas to any PVDA Board member or better yet, get involved!
| | Volunteer |
Getting involved is one of the best ways to get the most out of your membership. You meet others with the same interest in horses and dressage. Be a show secretary, help with publicity or hospitality. You can learn by writing for a judge or scoring. And anything you do gives you the satisfaction of being able to say you've made PVDA work! Remember, all PVDA officers, board members, committee chairmen and show organizers are volunteers.
PVDA is currently in the process of expanding our list of volunteers. Now is your chance to give back to the organization that continually strives to make your dressage dreams and goals a reality. We are in constant need of volunteers for our wonderful recognized shows, schooling shows and many other activities.
Please plan on setting a day aside this year for PVDA. Volunteering is fun and educational! Never volunteered before? No problem! We'll walk you through it! Complete training provided!
Call the PVDA Volunteer Coordinator, Samantha Smith at 410-923-6182 or email volunteers@pvda.org
